REPOST: I'm doin' it!!!

I have gone walking twice this week. I have increased it to 3 miles instead of the regular 2 miles. I have also changed to walking a route rather than walking 2 laps in the neighborhood, so that I don't get bored. My day today is pretty much shot. I wanted to be able to go walking today, but that is not going to happen. Too many clients and my nephew got shots, so I don't want my husband to be driven crazy by a toddler and a not-so-happy-because-he-got-shots-baby. Anyway, so I will probably pick up tomorrow and Sunday. I feel really good about it. I want to be able to do it daily eventually, but right now there is simply too much on the plate. LOL This summer we should be getting a puppy so hopefully that will increase my walks to some degree as we will be walking a dog.

By the way, I made two smoothies this week. They have been really good too. I even made one with Kashi cereal blended into it. It gave it kind of a nutty taste. The first one was blueberry, strawberry, banana, and spinach. This one is strawberry, banana, Kashi, and soy milk. It is my favorite. The smoothies are really filling. I will probably look at more ways of making them so that I can get even more veggies in. It is an easy way to have a meal while dealing with a client. It is not as rude to drink while working, as it is to eat and work.
