Yay me! I got a ball. I bought an exercise ball from Wal Mart by Gold's Gym. I like it a lot, because it is a stay put ball which means that it doesn't roll away while you are transitioning to another exercise. It can with a DVD and an exercise chart. I will post pics later, because my camera needs batteries. I used it yesterday, and I must say that I feel it today. It was well worth the money. The only problem is that the children think that it is "our ball".
I have vowed to do 12 miles a week which will be broken into 4 days 3 miles a piece. I enjoy that walk, but sometimes that cold weather is a bit much to deal with. My husband says he wants me to get a treadmill instead. Works for me. Whatever.
I have continued to eat better. I have done better with my portion sizes, been eating more raw foods, and not eating late at night. The other night I did eat about 7 or 8 at night, but I ate a tomato, lettuce, and bean sprout sandwich on whole wheat bread with tzatziki and roasted pepper hummus. I added a sprinkle of salt and a ton of pepper. It was delicious. My husband has noticed a difference in the way I look so that is always good.
Let me say this again. I do want to lose weight, but the main goal here is to lead a healthy lifestyle so that our children will pick up better eating habits that what we had previously.
