Fall Detox and Cleansing 2011-Day 1.5

So about day 1...I forgot ALL about it!!! I was suppose to start on Friday and I totally forgot until a fellow cleanser messaged me on FB to ask me a question! All I'd eaten up to the point was a vegan bean soup I made that was delish! Anyhoo, when I realized it I went liquid for the rest of the day. I have been drinking protein smoothies, water, water with vitamin C in it (I'll tell you about that  down below), teas, and natural juices. I feel fine so far. I haven't been looking at food too much, although that will change Tuesday because I started the organic food delivery again. The make matters worse they are sending avocados. Today I bought more tea because the detox tea I bought yesterday had senna in it and I DON'T need anything else to make me go to the bathroom.

*Prepare for a very looooooooong side note on the vitamin C and other stuff*

Okay, so I have a piercing allergy to nickel. That means that I can't get pierced with it, but I can wear it once I am all healed up. Anyway, I got my ears pierced with earrings that were supposed to be nickel free, but I started itching, blistering, etc., but I was determined to leave them in. I bought some earrings from this website made from niobium which is for super sensitive people. As soon as I put them in my ears stopped itching, but I had to fight what I think was a slight infection. I don't have insurance so I found some antibiotics that weren't expired and started using them, but they didn't seem to be working. I remembered hearing about high doses of vitamin C being good for infection and having NO ill effects on the body. While I was in Healthy Home Market I asked a lady what she would suggest. She suggested collidial silver internally and externally. I have been applying it to my ear, taking it twice a day, and taking about 4000mg of Vitamin C. In less than 24 hours I have seen a HUGE improvement!!! The swelling has gone down, my gland isn't swollen anymore, no more redness, or pus!!! Basically my lack of health insurance has pushed me toward healthier more wholistic medicine. Now I just have to get some probiotics to counter the antibiotics I took.
